We've done this several times. We spend a few hours fishing enroute and then spend a couple of hours snorkeling. Our skipper now has a boarding ladder to get back in the boat. That's good to have, since they can't pull the panga up to the beach. I don't like the idea of the boat disappearing over the horizon to pick us up later, so they anchor off-shore. There are rumors of "bandidos" in the area, but there was never any evidence of that while we were there. Enjoy!
